We moved to Tulsa in 1966. I remember that we went to a place that specialized in charburgers, crusty charred in the outside & juicy inside. It was in a strip center at about 30th Place & Harvard. All the waiters were black, and they wore starched white jackets. Obviously, it made an impression in me, but wasn’t open too long after that.
